Stone wall repointing

We were asked by a customer to re-point this stone wall at the rear of their property due to damp on the corresponding inner wall. It seemed to have been filled previously with sand and cement, along with some paper! This was most likely the source of the damp as it would never properly dry out. Some of the damp had caused parts of the stone to crumble away so we had to be very careful not to remove too much. We repointed the wall with lime-mortar, which would allow the wall wall to breathe and dry out properly in the future.
